This fall, we’re going on an adventure as we dive into one of the most complex and fascinating books of the Bible: Revelation!
Beginning this October, we’ll explore a book that has captivated Christians for centuries—not bad for a book that almost didn’t make it into our Scriptures! Revelation is a book of war and peace, letter and prophecy, warning and hope. It is filled with cryptic messages, vivid imagery, and mysterious numbers that would have carried meaning for the people to whom it was originally written.
Throughout our study, we’ll use the book Reading Revelation Responsibly: Uncivil Worship and Witness: Following the Lamb into the New Creation by Michael Gorman alongside Scripture itself to explore what Revelation meant to its first readers—and what it has to say to us today.
All sessions begin at 6:30pm at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 98 Sky Manor Rd. Pittstown
