The electrician and plumber were in this week to complete their final work before the demo team can come out.
UPDATES 6/8/26:
There will be no water in the Parish Hall Kitchen for the time being, and no hot water in the bathroom. The toilet and bathroom sink are still operational, cold water only.
The dumpster has been placed in the parking lot.
A letter has been sent to surrounding neighbors notifying them of the construction.
Project Summary
Construction will begin with 2 handicap accessible bathrooms that will be located in the space that the nursery currently occupies, plus a bit of the All Saints’ Room
A lift will be installed at the entrance to the sanctuary from the parish hall to allow access for wheelchairs
The kitchen will be renovated to be commercialy standard
New appliances and hood
New cabinetry
Triple sink and handwash sink
Heating in kitchen will be re-worked to prevent frozen pipes
Construction of new nursery space
The New York Ave. door will be removed and a new nursery will be located against the New York Ave. wall
The work will include the relocation of the basement stairs
Renovation of downstairs bathrooms
Installation of exterior ramp from the parking lot into the parish hall

The current bathroom will remain open while the new bathrooms are being built.
Nursery service will still be available each Sunday during service. Care will take place in a sectioned off portion of the Parish Hall.
Coffee Hour will still take place each Sunday after service.
Parking in the lot may be limited, as we will have a dumpster and storage container taking up a small number of spaces.
