Outreach

“In reply he said to them, ‘Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.’”

— Luke 3:11

Join us for our next Outreach Event, Faith in Action, May 4

Many faiths in Flemington are coming together for a fellowship luncheon and then they will all go out in the community to do several service projects. This is an opportunity to meet people of other faiths and celebrate one of the things we have in common, which is service to others.

Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Flemington Jewish Community Center (FJCC), 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, 12:30pm to 3:15pm.

Calvary will once again be making fleece tie blankets, as this is a great service that any age can participate in!  Sign up here for “Making Fleece Tie-off Blankets for Project Linus”

Thank you to everyone who donated, filled & packed Easter Baskets for the Flemington Area Food Pantry!!

We were able to donate 44 baskets, 10 mini baskets & 25 extra bunnies!!

Community Outreach has always been a key ministry area for Calvary Episcopal Church. Throughout the year, the congregation participates in supporting our local food pantry, as well as fundraising for local groups such as Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Readington Social Services.  We also support Christmas at Sea through The Seamen’s Church Institute every year by knitting scarves and hats to donate. We always look for more opportunities to directly give back to the community.
